We started rebuilding the home we lost in a wildfire in 2023, hiring someone familiar with the kit home we had purchased who said he’d have it done in five months. After two years we finally fired him; he’d lied about having a license and being given money for work he never did or had done by people who didn’t know what they were doing.
Hoss had done a fantastic kitchen remodel for me years ago and I begged him to finish the house for us. He is an amazing problem solver. He had to redo things, adjust things, and make them work. First, he made the house watertight. Then he continued to finish the rebuild. I can’t believe the amount of interior trim work required on this kit home with a wall of glass and other windows, doors, etc., but Hoss adjusted every cut for it to look perfect and took pains to hide the tiny nail heads. He finished electrical, plumbing, framing and other things, making sure they met code and passed inspection. He is also very experienced using heavy equipment and spent countless hours in the grading process of the property for that inspection.
There was a lot involved in fixing/finishing our home and we were very lucky we had Hoss and his experience and knowledge in so many fields to do so.
